Dreamcatcher

Dreamcatcher is a two-channel preamp designed to be the perfect flexible option for both bass and guitar. The clean (blue) channel is based on the Underground Accelerator, an excellent warm clean tone that can be pushed to get a little bit of drive. The drive channel (red) is a completely new design, and is capable of going everywhere from moderate crunch to chunky distortion, to aggressive fuzz. Each channel has an independent set of controls for flexibility and channel status LEDs so you know which channel is active even when the pedal is bypassed.

I get asked quite often what my personal favorite pedal is that I make, and this has to be it. It’s everything I want both as a bassist and as a guitarist, for both clean and dirt, and everything in between.

The Summer 2024 revised edition of Dreamcatcher has the same great circuit as before, but now with upgrades like film capacitors in the audio path and soft-touch relay bypass switching.

As a tube pedal, Dreamcatcher requires a high amount of current to operate correctly. I recommend a 9-12VDC power supply capable of delivering at least 600mA. Using less than this can damage the power supply and/or the pedal.
