Per My Last Email

Per My Last Email is yet another selfish creation for me. I loved the combination of the active EQ with the tube preamp in Venus Z, so I wanted it smaller. The EQ voicing has been changed slightly, but it keeps the same warmth and punch of the Venus preamp.

EQ Center Points are Bass: 60Hz, Lo Mids: 250Hz, Hi-Mids: 1.2kHz, and Treble: 5kHz

Per My Last Email also features a high-voltage buffer on the 1/4″ output, allowing it to operate completely independent of the XLR output.

Per My Last Email is equipped with an Unagi Magnetics E4305 D.I. transformer, which was custom-made to Sushi Box’s spec and has an extremely wide frequency response and excellent sensitivity to playing. It was designed specifically for use with tube preamps and was designed with bass in mind, giving a full-range flat response down to 10Hz.

As a tube pedal, Per My Last Email requires a high amount of current to operate correctly. I recommend a 9-12VDC power supply capable of delivering at least 500mA. Using less than this can damage the power supply and/or the pedal.
